It gives me an immense pleasure to welcome and introduce you to our ACHARYA PATHASALA COLLEGE OF COMMERCE (APSCC), Bangalore. Since 1956 our college has been imparting quality education in Commerce, along with Arts and Science, from 1986 onwards we became a separate entity imparting only Commerce stream, 1992-Management, and M. Com since 2000. This development was possible only because of ever supportive Management Team, dedicated College Staff and the demands of the Aspirants.
Shri. N Ananthachar, the founder of the Acharya Pathasala Educational Trust (APSET), had an incisive understanding of the social ills that beset his times and fully realized the dire need of the spread of education as a panacea for all the social ills. From its beginning, APSE Trust had laid its emphasis on the education for the downtrodden and the poor that really form the major bulk of the society.
Since its establishment, the college is taking high strides in achieving its success. The college is situated in the Heart of the City which can be accessed easily from all the directions of the City and outside, with excellent public transport facilities. The Stone building and possession of State-of-the-Art infrastructure which adds grandeur in the beauty of the college. The college is spread over 4 acres of land. We provide quality higher education in Commerce and Management streams at 2 graduate levels and 1 at the postgraduate level.
I feel proud to acknowledge the devotion and contribution of our highly qualified, dynamic, energetic, multi-faceted, multi-talented faculty, a non-teaching fraternity of the college who always strive for the betterment and development of the college in the academic world.
We also endeavour to provide our students with an ambiance, rich in knowledge and favourable to their physical, mental, social and intellectual growth and development. At the outset, the college strives to instill values like morality, sympathy, truth, spiritual development, humanity, integrity, honesty, democratic sense, equality, universal brotherhood, and welfare to lead them towards their holistic development.
I feel honoured to mention that the Management of the college has a noble and virtuous vision and is constantly motivating the college to attain its vision and Mission. Under the able guidance of the management, I am sure college will definitely prove to be on the high pedestal in the coming future too.
