Our Beloved Principal's Message
It gives me an immense pleasure to welcome and introduce you to our ACHARYA PATHASALA COLLEGE OF COMMERCE (APSCC), Bangalore. Since 1956 our college has been imparting quality education in Commerce, along with Arts and Science, from 1986 onwards we became a separate entity imparting only Commerce stream, 1992-Management, and M. Com since 2000. This development was possible only because of ever supportive Management Team, dedicated College Staff and the demands of the Aspirants.
Shri. N Ananthachar, the founder of the Acharya Pathasala Educational Trust (APSET), had an incisive understanding of the social ills that beset his times and fully realized the dire need of the spread of education as a panacea for all the social ills. From its beginning, APSE Trust had laid its emphasis on the education for the downtrodden and the poor that really form the major bulk of the society.

The realities of modern life have caused new thinking of Education, education is just not restricted to Classroom, blackboard, chalk and books teaching, but we together as Students and teachers have gone beyond our comfort zone to adapt to new digital education world. I have been fortunate to be a part of an esteemed institution Acharya Patha Shala college of commerce. The values that the institution believes and imparts to the students are of the utmost superior quality that has come with us all through the career journey. Beloved APS college, teachers & staff have nurtured & surrounded us in a very positive environment that the positive vibes remain with us even after many years. What makes the college stand out from the rest is the powerful character of this institution. Along with parting a significant part of their knowledge in the subject matter, all the teachers and the staff send us off to fly in the world with heartfelt love, best wishes & blessings that will support us & be with us forever in our lives. I have deep respect for my college and the faculty for helping me to rise & shine. Much like most the teenagers who come with ideas & thinking going all over the place, not able to conclude a path to take further ahead in life, I first stepped into this temple of education, very lost & confused too. The college was kind enough to have accepted me wholeheartedly, directed my strengths & nurtured my weaknesses, and helped me to stand up in becoming the confident individual that I am today in this world. I am proud to have worked as a Finance & operations manager in some of the world’s largest companies such as Hewlett Packard, Discovery networks, Bio Merieux (A French Medical diagnostics company), and Syratron technologies (Aviation & Aerospace) based out of Singapore for nearly two decades. I am now headed in the path of making a meaningful impact by pursuing a working career as an Education Researcher as well as pursuing higher education (Master’s and Ph.D. in Education & Pediatric Development Psychology) with the Ministry of Singapore/ NTU/ NIE, a university that ranks 11th Globally & 2nd in Asia, based in Singapore. I couldn’t have dreamt of something as big as this had it not been for my time spent at APS college. I am forever grateful to the esteemed institution, Principal, my teachers & the Staff for blessing & nurturing me into who I am today. I wish many more students like me will be able to fly & pursue their dreams colorfully in this auspicious institution.

One of the well-recognized and reputed Commerce colleges in Bangalore. The college has maintained an affordable fee structure with excellent education and the teaching faculty with very good passing out rates. The college infrastructure and its curriculum has been expanding accordingly with an increasing number of admissions and demand. The progress is commendable with all the amenities which a student needs to complete graduation or post-graduation successfully. The management has been continuously striving to upgrade the facilities, and infrastructure imparts the best faculties for the generation next. Am proud to be an ex-student of APSCC and glad to see the development.

APS Commerce College, formerly a part of the ‘A P S College of Arts, Commerce & Science’, became an independent entity in the year 1986 to provide professional Commerce & Management education to students from South Bangalore under the nomenclature Acharya Patashala College of Commerce.
